Plan for it is a website owned, built and search engine optimised by Biz Edge Consultancy Pte Ltd. The objective of this website is to offer both Singapore Insurance Agents and the buying public insights into the insurance sales career and other insurance and investment related matters.
That said, this website is not an insurance career portal. If you are looking for a home base business you can embark on in post Covid-19 Singapore, freelance web design can be a viable alternative. I personally teach WordPress web design at a very affordable price of just $39 at AwesomeSites.com.sg.
If however you are looking for sales ideas or a source of inspiration, especially when things are not going smoothly or if you happen to hit a bad patch, then this site will probably help, for it is our hope that by reading the articles and blog post here, those:
- Seeking a career in life insurance selling will have a better understanding of what it entails
- looking for help in their insurance career will be able to find the inspiration and skills needed to rejuvenate their business
- Considering buying life insurance will not put off the decision much longer
This website is currently a non-profit driven project undertaken by Biz Edge Consultancy to give back to the Life insurance industry and the many friends, ex-colleges, agents and agency leaders who have in their own way touched the life of Andrew Koh, Biz Edge’s Founder and Director, when he was working in the insurance industry.
Who is Andrew Koh?
Andrew Koh has more than 18 years of experience in the local life insurance industry, most of which were spent managing, supporting and driving new business through the agency distribution channel.
Originally employed by AIA Singapore (his last role there being that of Regional Director of Agencies), Andrew moved over to HSBC Insurance Singapore Pte Ltd in 2008, just before the AIG Crisis, to assume the role Chief Agency Officer, a role he held till early 2012.
Andrew is firm believer in the benefits of life insurance planning as well as funeral pre-planning, both to the beneficiaries and society at large. And it is this belief that kept him in the industry for a good 18 years and fuels his passion to set up this website
Why the Creation of Plan For It?
Why not? After having spent that many years and having learnt so much from so many, wouldn’t it only be right to give back or have a place to document his thoughts which could perhaps benefit those seeking to join the industry.
So when he saw that the domain planforit.net was available, through Biz Edge, he bought the domain and the rest is history.
Why the Name Plan For It?
Because whether you are talking about insurance, investment or a successful career in insurance sales, you need to plan for it. Anyone who fails to plan is only setting himself up for failure.
